Once I sat engaged and sleeting
And its eyes have all the shivering
Back into my memories braving
My mind always strays to raindrops

Waiving, with my engraving
And the sunbeams never deluging
And its eyes have all the shimmering
As of someone gently simmering, simmering

The mugginess brought such sorrow
And its eyes closed tomorrow
In there stepped a staring nimbus
Take thy heat from out my heart

Death shall bring amounts
And so you came for such gently whispering
Instead I uncovered the mist
The whispering gallery wrath weathering

Take thy burner from out my heart
With such a passion for tethering
